Standard Chartered (HKG:2888) repurchased 771,258 shares in London on Tuesday at an average price of around 11.3766 pounds sterling apiece, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The British lender plans to cancel the shares, after which it will have 2,346,346,241 shares in issue.
