Kosmos Energy Ltd., along with Tullow Oil, PetroSA, Ghana National Petroleum Company (GNPC), and Explorco, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Ghana to extend the West Cape Three Points (WCTP) and Deep Water Tano $(DWT)$ licenses until 2040. These licenses cover the Jubilee and TEN fields in Ghana. The extension includes approval to drill up to 20 additional wells in the Jubilee field, representing an investment of up to $2 billion over the life of the licenses. This move is expected to increase gross 2P reserves significantly, fostering long-term investment and economic growth in Ghana's energy sector. The agreement underlines the collaborative efforts of the involved parties to support Ghana's economic development and increase job opportunities through responsible oil and gas production.
