IT之家 6 月 4 日消息，惠普 5 月 14 日宣布联手边缘 AI 处理器制造商 Hailo，基于后者的 Hailo-10H 40TOPS AI 加速器打造HP AI Accelerator M.2 卡，将 dNPU 纳入其零售和酒店行业终端设备阵容中。

惠普表示，当今基于云的 AI 解决方案经常受到网络连接不可靠和延迟的影响，同时高前期成本和大量能耗会影响企业 AI 投资的回报率，而 HP AI Accelerator M.2 卡则消除了这些挑战，扩大了边缘 AI 的机会。

对于零售、酒店两大行业而言，预测性 AI 支持实时库存跟踪以优化库存管理，并通过检测异常行为模式和未扫描的商品来预防潜在欺诈的损失；而生成式 AI 通过个性化推荐增强客户体验，提高参与度和转化率，并可以通过 AI 代理让员工精力专注于高价值任务。
