ReShape Lifesciences (RSLS) said Tuesday that its Quality Management System and entire commercial portfolio of medical devices sold in Europe and the United Kingdom have been certified under the European Union's Medical Device Regulation and UK Conformity Assessment, respectively.

Shares soared 57%, with intraday trading volume catapulting to over 43.3 million compared with a daily average of roughly 692,000.

Kiora Pharmaceuticals (KPRX) shares surged 30% after the company said it granted Senju Pharmaceutical an exclusive option to exercise rights to an exclusive development and commercialization deal for KIO-301 to treat ophthalmic diseases.

More than 23.5 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 11,000.

Dollar General (DG) lifted its full-year revenue and same-store sales growth outlook on Tuesday as it recorded better-than-expected fiscal Q1 results, while the discount retailer said tariffs could pressure consumer spending.

Shares advanced 14% as intraday trading volume climbed to more than 9.6 million from a daily average of about 4.5 million.
