信达证券发布研报称，日本烟草近日推出新款加热烟草设备Ploom AURA(20.94美元)及其专用烟草棒EVO(3.87美元)。AURA烟具支持标准、强劲、长效、节能4种加热模式，支持蓝牙连接与专属应用程序控制。日烟计划25-27年将投入42亿美元用于新型烟草发展，其中Ploom AURA将作为核心项目被推进，目标在2028年HNB全球市占率超10%。另根据该行渠道调研，英美烟草表示将会持续投入并努力强化创新研发管线(尤其在GLO系列)。该行认为，近期海外烟草龙头竞争态势明显加速、且提升HNB战略地位。
国海证券指出，菲莫国际、英美烟草等通过并购快速扩张市场并布局新型烟草，如菲莫国际通过收购瑞典火柴公司布局口含烟业务。中烟香港作为中烟体系海外资产整合平台，未来有望通过收并购进一步拓展产业链以及销售渠道，复制国际巨头的成长路径。当前集团境外资产丰富，注入预期较高，为公司打开长期外延空间。该行看好公司“内生+外延”战略，随着后续集团海外资产注入有望持续扩大公司业务体量。
