Taoping Inc. (Nasdaq: TAOP), a provider of innovative smart cloud platform services and solutions, has announced a new sales and purchase agreement valued at RMB 20 million (US$2.8 million) with Hunan Xiuxiang Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. The two-year partnership will see Taoping supplying designated agricultural products to Xiuxiang Agricultural, a company specializing in vegetable sales based in Changsha, Hunan Province. This collaboration aims to modernize Xiuxiang Agricultural's operations and enhance supply chain efficiency. This agreement is a continuation of Taoping's strategic expansion in the agricultural sector, following a previous project in Mengla County, Yunnan Province, expected to generate significant output by 2027. Chairman and CEO Jianghuai Lin expressed optimism about leveraging Taoping's expertise to benefit partners and shareholders, citing the increasing demand for agricultural products in China.
