Kanzhun's Earnings Face Upside on Cash Billings' Low Base -- Market Talk

0310 GMT - Kanzhun's earnings face upside on a low base for cash billings, Daiwa Capital Markets analysts say in a research report. Going into 2Q, cash billings growth should accelerate on year, they say. A marginal improvement in hiring demand in 2H will probably lead to accelerated deferred revenue growth at the online recruitment platform. With the Chinese company likely to stay disciplined in selling and marketing expenses, the brokerage sees upside risks to its and the street's 2025 earnings estimates. Daiwa upgrades the stock to buy from hold and raises the target price to US$22.00 from US$19.00. ADRs last closed at US$17.65. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
