Google recently dropped a bombshell. Announcing its new ‘AI mode’ and expanded AI overviews, Google will now replace its core search product that has placed it on the centre of the global web for decades, for an AI-powered gambit.
This means that, rather than keywords, you can ask questions in a more natural, conversational manner. Rather than links you get recommendations. How any business or website becomes part of those recommendations is still anyone’s guess.
