Capital World Provides Updates on Legal Cases

Capital World (SGX:1D5) provided updates on legal claims against the group, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Friday.

The company's subsidiary, CCP received an incomplete writ and statement claim from Anna Ling and other purchasers for an amount of 30.6 million ringgit. During the case management, the court has directed the next case management for Aug. 6.

Meanwhile, the court also issued its verdict on the case of Pung It Teong and Tan Yee Ting, with the court dismissing the claim by the plaintiffs and awarded a costs of 9,000 ringgit to the company's subsidiary, Capital City Property.
