Dateline Resources (ASX:DTR) plans to conduct a comprehensive soil sampling program and a magnetotelluric geophysical survey at its Colosseum gold and rare earth element project in California in June, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The company is also finalizing plans for a maiden rare earth element drilling program to test the highest-priority rare earth element targets at the project, the filing said. Several drill holes will be designed to probe for gold extensions of the known breccia pipes.
The re-examination of existing 2023 gravity survey data, considering recent geochemical findings, confirmed that gravity low anomalies coincide with known breccia pipes, per the filing. The presence of additional, intact gold-bearing breccia pipes beyond the mined areas is considered highly prospective.
