Davidson Instruments, a leader in fiber optic pressure measurement systems, has filed a lawsuit against Parker Hannifin Corporation, alleging antitrust violations, theft of trade secrets, and copyright infringement. The lawsuit claims that Parker filed a fraudulent patent application in 2024, along with other acts of misappropriation of Davidson's trade secrets. These secrets reportedly enhance fuel efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in jet engines. Davidson is seeking damages of at least $900 million and injunctive relief. The case is being heard in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
