Ameren Illinois has announced the promotion of Jason Klein to vice president of Electric Operations and Technical Services. Klein, who has been with Ameren Illinois for nearly 30 years, will lead the company's electric modernization program and oversee over 50,000 miles of distribution and transmission power lines. Previously, he served as senior director of distribution operations and played a key role in planning grid improvements and storm restoration efforts.
