Terra Metals (ASX:TM1) received all necessary heritage and drilling approvals to start phase three drilling across its Dante project in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The approvals relate to multiple new, high-priority copper-critical-metal targets across the project and cover infill and extensional drilling at the Reef 1 and Reef 2 discoveries.

Field reconnaissance and exploration activities began across the newly acquired HRM tenements, the magnetics of which strongly suggested extensions of geophysical features associated with the copper-critical metal discoveries.

Terra Metals' shares surged almost 9% in recent Wednesday trade.
