快科技6月5日消息，一款古老的CD抓轨软件CD2WAV32在16年后终于迎来了更新，软件开发者Moroboshi Ramu近日发布了4.00jp版本，使其能够完全兼容Windows 11 24H2。

开发者表示，CD2WAV32的上一次更新是在16年前，如果从正式版本开始算，大约也有 20 年没更新了吧。

此次更新后，软件将仅支持Windows 11，因为这是开发者目前唯一使用的系统，但该工具也在Windows 10上进行了简单测试，并没有什么问题。

至于更新原因，Ramu表示前段时间把主力电脑升级到了Windows 11，并安装了最新的Delphi CE 12.1，想感受下新功能于是就加载了CD2WAV的示例项目，"结果修正的手停不下来，因此决定进行正式更新"。

此次更新包括：内部字符编码处理已全面转向Unicode；与ID3标签相关的项目也从Shift-JIS改为Unicode；工具的GUI（图形用户界面）已更新为最新的Windows 11风格等等。

还对CDDB服务进行了调整，以便能够再次运行，从而可以使用有意义的文件名、曲目标题、艺术家名称和流派等进行抓轨。

尽管流媒体时代已经到来，但仍有爱好者保留和收集音频CD，因此偶尔抓取音频CD仍然有时候还是会用到的。

微软也早在2022年更新了其媒体播放器应用程序，使其无需额外软件也能抓取CD音频，并在2023年增加了MP3支持。
