民青局向东华三院批出在“将酒店和旅馆转作青年宿舍用途的资助计划”下的第六个项目。
该青年宿舍项目由东华三院与香港小轮(00050.HK) 合作推出，名为“东华‧南昌汇”。项目位于深水埗通州街280号，提供最多676个宿位。东华三院为项目注入“纵向型青年社区”的概念，期望青年租户除了可以享有自住的地方外，亦可在共享空间与其他租户互动，从而建立一个互助互信的社交网络。项目另一个特点是透过推出V-Mile计划，鼓励青年租户积极参与东华三院认可的增值活动及社区服务，或自发组织活动。
“将酒店和旅馆转作青年宿舍用途的资助计划”下已推出的青年宿舍连同此东华三院的项目，宿位数目由本届政府接任时约80个，大幅增加到目前超过3,700个。(ha/j)(港股报价延迟最少十五分钟。)
