Consumer stocks were declining premarket Thursday with the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) down 0.2% and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) 0.1% lower recently.
Brown-Forman (BF.A) shares were down more than 13% after the company reported lower fiscal Q4 earnings and net sales.
Life Time Group Holdings (LTH) said stockholders Leonard Green & Partners and TPG (TPG) plan to offer 20 million of the company's common shares in an underwritten public offering. Life Time Group Holdings shares were more than 2% lower pre-bell.
Buckle (BKE) shares were up more than 2% after the company said its net sales rose by 7.8% year over year to $88.4 million in May.
