智通财经APP获悉，富国银行(WFC.US)计划在企业及投行业务领域发力，并扩大自有品牌信用卡业务。这是该行在受制于1.95万亿美元资产上限七年后，制定的一系列发展计划中的重点。
首席执行官查理·沙夫在接受采访时表示，公司有望跻身投行前五强。他透露，富国银行还正探索利用资产负债表进军快速发展的直接贷款业务，即为中型企业和杠杆收购提供融资。
周二收盘后，美联储解除了2018年因一系列不当销售行为和合规失效丑闻对富国银行实施的资产上限，并终止了相关监管令。沙夫上周在会议上表示，在受限期间，该行选择拒绝商业银行存款，而非拒绝消费者或财富管理客户存款。
如今重获经营自由，富国银行还将向财富管理客户推广其他银行服务。沙夫称，该行正在评估是否重启此前暂停的房屋净值贷款业务。
