美国总统特朗普和刚离开政府效率部负责人岗位的埃隆·马斯克当地时间6月5日公开发生“口水战”，二人关系决裂。当地时间6月6日，特朗普在“空军一号”上对媒体称，他暂时不打算和马斯克说话，但祝他“一切顺利”。有美国媒体此前报道，白宫方面已安排马斯克当天同特朗普通话，希望二人缓和紧张关系。特朗普称相关报道是“搞错了”。

特朗普此前曾暗示将终止与马斯克旗下企业的政府合同。6月6日当天在被问到“美国是否离得开这些合作”时，特朗普表示，“美国离了谁都照样转，除了我。”

马斯克近日则通过社交平台表示，正在考虑“在美国创建一个真正代表80%中间派的新政党”，并发起投票。当地时间6月6日的调查结果显示，超过80%的投票者都选择应该创建此类政党。马斯克还表示赞同将该党称为“美国党”。
