Far East Gold Starts Resource Expansion Drilling at Indonesia Project; Shares Up 14%

Far East Gold (ASX:FEG) started infill and resource expansion drilling in the Sua, Mafu, and Bermol prospects, as well as initial drilling at the Kwaplu prospect, within the Idenburg project in Indonesia, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

Two diamond rigs are operating at the Bermol prospect as part of the program, which will also provide core composite samples for metallurgical testing, the filing said.

Shares rose past 14% in midday trade Thursday.
