The Mosaic Company has announced a revision to its financial guidance for the second quarter and full year 2025. The company anticipates a stronger performance in the second quarter, bolstered by rising prices, improved distribution margins, and enhancements in operating efficiency. For phosphates, the price guidance has been raised, with DAP prices expected to range between $650 to $670 per tonne, up from the previous $635-$655. Potash prices remain stable at $230 to $250 per tonne. However, Mosaic has revised its phosphate sales volume for the second quarter to 1.5-1.6 million tonnes, down from the earlier 1.7-1.9 million tonnes, while maintaining the potash sales forecast at 2.3-2.5 million tonnes. Despite some production challenges at its Riverview and Louisiana facilities, the company remains optimistic about achieving its production targets for the latter half of the year, with efforts focused on eliminating bottlenecks and completing necessary repairs. Overall, Mosaic is confident in its operating plans and anticipates maintaining its target run rates across its U.S. phosphate assets.
