BlockBeats News, June 6, EigenLayer announced on social media that the redistribution mechanism has been launched on the testnet. AVS can now redirect slashed funds instead of destroying them, supporting new use cases such as lending and insurance protocols. This feature has been running on the Holesky, Sepolia, and Hoodi testnets. The mainnet version is coming soon and is expected to go live on the mainnet in late June or July.
