IT之家 6 月 6 日消息，Tenstorrent 首席执行官 Jim Keller 在接受外媒 EE Times 采访时表示，该 AI 芯片企业将在多个方面反英伟达之道而行，从而创造一条独立的发展路径。

这位著名芯片设计师宣称，对 Tenstorrent 的产品而言标准以太网互联已绰绰有余，他并不在意英伟达的 NVLink Fusion 授权。

Jim Keller 认为更小且成本更低的芯片、更简单的服务器、开源软件堆栈都是“好主意”；同时 Tenstorrent 使用 GDDR6 作为片外存储，而不是封装产能更低、更为昂贵的 HBM 内存。

他强调，如果市场内的小型参与者完全复制领导者的模式，即使能获得 20% 的市场份额也意味着更低的售价和利润率，同时不会创造出一个新市场空间。

Jim Keller 表示 Tenstorrent 的开源软件堆栈至少已被一家总部位于中国的企业用于自有 AI 硬件，Tenstorrent 的 AI 硬件将在合规的前提下继续向中国市场供应，他认为创新而非监管才是获取技术胜利的关键。

对于 Tenstorrent 和 Rapidus 的合作，Jim Keller 称测试数据与该企业的预期大致相当。
