Odaily星球日报讯 a16z Crypto 发文《稳定币：让 10 亿人参与加密货币的机会》（Stablecoins: A 1+ billion-user onboarding opportunity），其中指出过去 12 个月，稳定币的交易量已达 33 万亿美元，持续创下历史新高，接近 PayPal 交易量的 20 倍，接近 Visa 交易量的 3 倍，稳定币已经融入这些已经存在了几十年的庞大的全球支付网络中。 稳定币的蓬勃发展带来了 1280 亿美元美国国债被稳定币持有的成果。这使得它们跻身美国国债前 20 大持有者之列，甚至超过了沙特阿拉伯、韩国、阿联酋和德国等国家。花旗银行最近预测，到 2030 年，稳定币在美国国债中的持有量将达到 3.7 万亿美元，使其成为这份榜单上最大的持有者。长期以来，稳定币一直被批评仅用于结算投机性加密货币交易，但数据表明并非如此。
