Koonenberry Gold (ASX:KNB) said a diamond drilling hole at the Enmore gold project's Sunnyside prospect in New South Wales returned significant gold mineralization over extensive widths, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
The results included an intercept of 150 meters at 0.71 grams per tonne grade of gold from 230 meters. Gold mineralization remains open up-dip and at depth as well as along strike.
Results from another drill hole, which contained visible gold, are expected in mid to late June.
The firm's shares fell 27% in recent trading on Friday.
