IT之家 6 月 7 日消息，据日媒 ITMedia 报道，日本数字厅 6 日宣布，从 6 月 24 日起，iPhone 用户可以将“个人编号卡”添加到 Apple Wallet 中使用。

这也意味着日本成为美国以外首个允许在 Apple Wallet 添加身份证件的国家。用户只需通过 Face ID 或 Touch ID 进行认证，就能像使用实体卡一样，登录“个人门户网站”，在便利店打印各类证明文件等，享受多项政务服务。

IT之家从报道中获悉，苹果公司 CEO 蒂姆・库克曾在去年 5 月承诺将在 2025 年春季为 iPhone 推出个人编号卡功能。相比之下，Android 平台早在 2023 年 5 月就已支持个人编号卡的电子认证。

此外，日本政府也计划在 7 月推出“个人编号卡面对面确认 App”的 iOS 版本，届时企业和机构将可利用 iPhone 上的编号卡功能进行身份核验，该功能目前正在开发中。
