Sinofert (HKG:0297) indirect subsidiary Sinochem Jilin Changshan tapped Luxi Industrial for the subsidiary's formamide project for a preliminary consideration of 9.8 million yuan, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The total consideration after acceptance shall not exceed 15 million yuan, the filing said.
Annual production for the formamide project, covering the construction and installation of equipment, pipelines, electrical systems, and instruments, is expected to be 10,000 tons, the filing said.
The project is expected to accelerate the development of carbon-eone chemical products.
Luxi Industrial is a subsidiary of Sinofert ultimate controlling shareholder Sinochem Holdings.
