Hino Motors (TYO:7205) will transfer its Hamura Plant to Toyota Motor Corp. (TYO:7203) on April 1, 2026, following the planned integration with Mitsubishi Fuso, according to a Tuesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

The plant will be spun off into a new wholly owned subsidiary, with all shares to be sold to Toyota. Hino said the move will streamline operations and strengthen its role in the Toyota Group.

The Hamura Plant has built light trucks and Toyota models since 1963 and will become a key site for frame-structured vehicles.
