消息面上，公司正在推出一款名为“绿点助手”（Green Dot Assist）的全新人工智能虚拟助手，旨在帮助咖啡师学习操作技巧并高效处理问题。星巴克首席技术官黛布·霍尔·勒菲弗（Deb Hall Lefevre）在领英（LinkedIn）上表示，该程序是通过微软（Microsoft）Azure使用OpenAI 平台开发的。
咖啡师可以通过语音或在店内设备上发送短信的方式向绿点助手 (Green Dot Assist) 发出请求，以复习如何制作特定饮品，或在机器出现故障时获取故障排除技巧等等。星巴克表示，该项目将在 35 家门店试行，未来还将在更多门店推广。
