　　特朗普政府越来越多的内外智囊正在举荐另一人出任美联储下一届主席：正在领衔经贸谈判的财政部长斯科特·贝森特。

　　美国总统唐纳德·特朗普上周五表示，他将“很快”宣布由谁来接替美联储主席任期在2026年5月结束的杰罗姆·鲍威尔。

　　据知情人士透露，进入考虑范围的候选人不多，包括特朗普去年11月曾为财长一职面试过的前美联储官员凯文·沃什。

　　但知情人士称，目前被特朗普委以重任通过全面改革贸易、税收和监管来重振美国经济的贝森特也成了美联储主席一职的竞争者之一。不愿公开身份的两位知情人士表示，正式面试尚未开始。

　　“我有着华盛顿最好的工作，” 贝森特在回应置评请求时说，“总统将决定谁对经济和美国人民最有利。”

　　作为财政部长，贝森特通常会在下一任美联储主席的遴选和面试过程中扮演关键角色。目前尚不清楚在特朗普做出决定的过程中他是否会回避。

　　随后美国白宫回应：有关美国财政部长贝森特被视为下一任美联储主席候选人的报道不属实。
