Castile Resources Detects IOCG Signs at Pathfinder 38 Prospect; Shares Up 11%

Castile Resources (ASX:CST) has intersected geological features indicative of an iron oxide copper-gold (IOCG) system at its Pathfinder 38 prospect, including strong alteration zones and elevated copper levels, but no assay results exceeded the 1% copper cut-off grade, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Castile believes drill hole 25P38D001 at Pathfinder 38 intersected the edge of an IOCG-style system, with key intervals including silica-hematite alteration, magnetite-pyrite in a parasitic fold resembling the Rover 1 setting, and chlorite alteration with copper up to 770 parts per million, the filing added.

Shares of Castile were up 11% in recent Tuesday trade.
