U.S. GoldMining Inc. has selected Ausenco Engineering Canada ULC as the principal consulting firm for its initial assessment study of the Whistler Gold-Copper Project in Alaska. The project, located approximately 105 miles northwest of Anchorage, will explore the development of a stand-alone open-pit mine and concentrator facility. The preliminary economic assessment $(PEA.AU)$ aims to unlock significant value, focusing on a mineral resource estimate of 6.48 million ounces of gold equivalent in the indicated category and 4.16 million ounces in the inferred category. With an emphasis on the near-surface, higher-grade core material, the project is poised to benefit from existing infrastructure in south-central Alaska. Completion of the study is targeted for year-end, with periodic updates expected as the project progresses.
