优步（Uber）周二宣布与自动驾驶技术公司Wayve合作，将在英国开展完全无人驾驶出租车的试运营。这家网约车平台表示，这将是其首次在没有安全驾驶员的情况下（行业标准称为“L4级自动驾驶”）提供载客服务。

　　在旧金山，谷歌旗下Waymo的无人驾驶出租车已开展商业化运营。而全球其他竞争者也在争相推出“机器人出租车”服务。优步首席运营官安德鲁·麦克唐纳称，此次合作将推动“全球安全可靠的自动驾驶服务”愿景实现。

　　Wayve联合创始人亚历克斯·肯德尔表示：“这是英国自动驾驶的里程碑时刻。”这家获软银投资的伦敦初创公司开发的AI驾驶系统，能帮助车辆适应任何道路环境。

　　优步表示，英国交通部推出的自动驾驶商业试点“加速框架”使该项目得以实施。在试运营前，两家公司将与伦敦交通局密切合作完成监管审批。

　　去年英国通过《自动驾驶汽车法案》，政府称该法案将为2026年前自动驾驶汽车上路铺平道路。
