智通财经APP获悉，法国石油巨头道达尔(TTE.US)周四表示，将与人工智能(AI)初创公司Mistral合作开发数字工具，旨在改善其能源业务和工业资产的绩效、提高能源效率并减少对环境的影响。
合作已开始，团队已在两家公司现有的场地进行会谈。道达尔发言人表示，目前还没有建立实体实验室的计划。
根据一份声明，Mistral将与道达尔合作开发一款人工智能助手，以帮助该能源公司开发新项目，为运营工业场所减少排放提出决策建议，并改进客户支持解决方案，从而帮助客户节约能源。
道达尔首席执行官Patrick Pouyanne在一份声明中表示：“人工智能在改变能源系统方面具有巨大潜力……这笔交易反映了我们为欧洲技术生态系统做出贡献的意愿。”
本周早些时候，Mistral推出了欧洲首个人工智能推理模型，该模型利用逻辑思维来做出反应。这家法国初创公司试图在人工智能发展前沿跟上美国和中国的竞争对手。
道达尔自2022年以来一直与外部人工智能初创公司进行合作，当时该公司启动了一项旨在寻找提高其电力业务盈利能力的解决方案的计划。
这些合作关系包括基于算法的风力涡轮机预测性维护，基于先进天气模型的电力交易优化，以及对未来可再生能源农场进行更精确的数字化规划。
今年2月，Pouyanne在巴黎举行的人工智能行动峰会上表示，这家能源公司还试用了微软的对话式人工智能助手Copilot，授予员工六个月的访问权限，以确定哪些用途最有帮助。
