微信支付与日本电子钱包“au PAY”合作，访日旅客可扫au PAY二维码付款
IT之家 6 月 11 日消息，日本移动电话服务品牌 au 昨日宣布，旗下电子钱包“au PAY”已与微信支付合作，访日旅客现可使用微信扫描 au PAY 二维码付款。
au 于新闻稿中表示，访日外国旅客数量近年来逐年增长，其带动了跨国电子钱包支付合作的需求；此次选择了在中国拥有 14 亿月活用户且普及率极高的“微信”App 内置的“微信支付”作为合作对象。
同时 au 于文中宣布，自 6 月 10 日（昨日）起，用户可在日本全国各地的 au PAY 合作商户店内扫描 au PAY 二维码，使用微信支付进行付款。
此次 au PAY 与微信支付的合作采用了 EVONET 提供的安全钱包网络支付技术，au PAY 今后还将与更多电子钱包支付应用合作，致力于与其他国家的手机支付服务建立连接。
