Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited, a listed subsidiary of Melco International Development Limited, has announced significant developments concerning its operations in Macau. As part of its overall development strategy, the company plans to cease operations of the Grand Dragon Casino and three Mocha Clubs, namely Mocha Hotel Royal, Mocha Kuong Fat, and Mocha Grand Dragon Hotel, by the end of 2025. The employees from these venues will be reassigned to other properties of Melco Resorts in Macau, ensuring continued employment within their current roles. Additionally, gaming tables and electronic gaming machines from the affected venues will be reallocated to other casinos or gaming areas operated by Melco Resorts in the region. The company also intends to seek necessary approvals to continue operations of three other Mocha Clubs beyond 2025.
