IT之家 6 月 11 日消息，据外媒 404 Media 10 日披露，根据 GitHub 上的代码和 AI.gov 网站的早期版本，美国政府正推进一个名为“AI.gov”的平台和 API 服务，旨在通过 AI 推动政府创新。
该项目据称由总务管理局下属的技术转型服务部门主导，负责人是前特斯拉工程师托马斯・谢德。据《纽约时报》报道，谢德是埃隆・马斯克设立的“政府效率部”（IT之家注：简称“DOGE”）的盟友。多项报道指出，他曾提出利用 AI 识别欺诈、分析政府合同，并开发“AI 编程智能体”为联邦机构编写软件。
AI.gov 网站的早期版本目前已跳转至白宫官网。页面介绍称，该平台由“美国最强的 AI 技术驱动”，包含三项工具：一款 AI 聊天助手；一个支持接入 OpenAI、谷歌和 Anthropic 模型的 API；以及一个用于分析联邦机构整体部署情况的控制台。
404 Media 指出，该项目预计将于 7 月 4 日正式上线，这一天也是美国的“独立日”。
《连线》杂志此前报道称，DOGE 曾试图通过 AI 替代其协助裁撤的数千名联邦雇员的岗位。尽管马斯克目前已离开美国政府，但 AI.gov 的推进显示出 DOGE 的影响依然存在。
