China has granted temporary rare-earth export licenses to suppliers of General Motors, Ford, and Stellantis, Reuters reported June 6.

The at least six-month licenses come amid growing disruptions from Beijing's April export curbs on the critical materials, according to the report.

While it's unclear how much or which items are covered, the move may ease immediate bottlenecks, Reuters wrote.

Stellantis confirmed it is managing production without major disruptions, according to the report. GM and Ford declined to comment.
