Aduro Clean Technologies (ADUR) said late Wednesday it closed its US public offering of 947,868 common shares with accompanying warrants to buy 473,934 common shares for gross proceeds of $8 million.
The company offered underwriters a 45-day overallotment option to buy up to an additional 142,180 common shares and/or warrants to buy an additional 71,090 common shares.
The price per common share and half warrant was set at $8.44, and each whole warrant can be exercised immediately into one common share at $10.13 per share, the company said.
Aduro said it plans to use the net proceeds to cover research and development costs, overheads linked to the construction of the "Demonstration-Scale" plant, and for general corporate purposes.
