0849 GMT - European insurers have attractive growth and capital-return potential, Deutsche Bank says in a research note. Analyst Rhea Shah retains a positive view on the sector which has already outperformed the market by around 12% in the year to date. Within composite insurers, property and casualty earnings should do well on pricing tailwinds while life earnings could also provide support, she says. DB likes Dutch insurers and sees scope for mid-term growth for U.K. life names. The broker rotates its recommendations and cuts its ratings on Allianz, ASR and L&G to hold as it sees better value elsewhere despite their high-quality franchises. DB upgrades NN Group, Phoenix and Prudential to buy, citing increased confidence in their ability to deliver shareholder value. (elena.vardon@wsj.com)
