Graphjet Technology has announced a regulatory issue concerning its compliance with Nasdaq listing requirements. The company received a notification from Nasdaq indicating it was not in compliance due to delays in filing its annual and quarterly reports with the SEC for the periods ending September 30, 2024, and December 31, 2024, respectively. On June 4, 2025, Nasdaq determined that Graphjet did not provide a definitive plan to achieve compliance by July 15, 2025, resulting in a denial of the company's request for continued listing. Consequently, trading of its common stock is scheduled to be suspended from June 13, 2025, and a Form 25-NSE will be filed to remove its securities from listing and registration. However, a stay on this decision is in place pending a final written decision by the Nasdaq Hearings Panel, with a hearing set for July 17, 2025. The outcome of the company's appeal remains uncertain.
