CAC Group adds Brightway’s Brogan as head of carrier relations

By Mia MacGregor

June 16 - (The Insurer) - CAC group has appointed Kevin Brogan from Brightway Insurance as head of carrier relations.

Brogan joined CAC Group after a year at Brightway, where he served as head of carrier relationships.

Before that, Brogan spent five years at QBE North America, where he ultimately served as an advisor for commercial insurance. Earlier in his career, he spent time at USI Insurance Services and Wells Fargo.

In his new role, Brogan will focus on strengthening and expanding the company's partnerships with carriers, and ensuring clients have access to the appropriate products and coverages needed for complex risks.

“It takes strategy and precision to stay ahead of emerging risks, and partnering with carriers that are primed to insure these new and increasingly impactful exposures is an important part of our approach to client service,” said Brogan.

Brogan's appointment comes after CAC Group has made a flurry of senior leadership changes in recent months, including the promotion of Erin Lynch to CEO and Mike Rice moving to become vice chair, while Andrea Ash was named chief operating officer and Colin Daly was appointed chief commercial officer.
