澳大利亚第二大石油和天然气生产商Santos周一表示，已收到一个由阿布扎比国家石油公司（Abu Dhabi National Oil Co．）牵头的财团发出的收购提议，金额约187.2亿美元。
Santos表示，由阿布扎比国家石油公司旗下子公司XRG牵头的财团提出了每股8.89澳元（合5.76美元）的现金出价。Santos称该出价为最终出价。在此之前，该财团曾于3月份分别提出每股8.00澳元和每股8.60澳元的两份收购提议。
Santos表示，如果该财团提出具有约束力的收购要约，该公司打算建议股东接受交易条款。该财团还包括Abu Dhabi Development Holding Co．和私募股权投资公司凯雷（Carlyle）。Santos的股价上周收于6.96澳元。
这笔交易若达成，则将成为今年能源行业规模最大的交易之一，而谈判正值原油和天然气价格不断上涨之际，原因是以色列和伊朗的冲突可能扰乱全球能源供应。全球基准布伦特原油上周上涨12%，投资者押注伊朗每日约150万桶的石油出口可能会减少。
