该公司推出的 LightLocker 节点是一款服务器，采用了全同态加密（FHE）技术。这是一种数学方法，允许在加密数据上直接进行计算，而无需破坏加密本身。
过去一年中，已有几家公司在加密货币领域筹集资金并探索全同态加密（FHE）的应用。Optalysys 表示，其服务器硬件是专为区块链加密打造的，提供了比昂贵且效率低下的 GPU 系统更具成本效益的替代方案，能源消耗减少 40%。
Optalysys 总部位于英格兰利兹，由首席执行官 Nick New 和首席技术官 Robert Todd 于 2013 年创立。该公司于 2023 年 7 月完成了 2100 万英镑（约 2800 万美元）的 A 轮融资。
