1731 ET - Zedge's ad business seems to be showing early signs of recovery after a TikTok ban rocked sales earlier this year. The company saw sales decline in 2Q as its advertising revenue tanked 14%, weighed down by lower competition and ad rates across the industry as TikTok pulled back on its U.S. ad spend amid a pending ban from the app store. A temporary ban at the start of last quarter weighed on results, the company said, but ad sales still managed to grow 2.2% in the period and helped overall revenue return to growth.
