Vulcan Energy Resources (ASX:VUL) received building permits for its phase one Lionheart project in the Upper Rhine Valley Brine Field bordering Germany and France, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
Phase one involves the construction of a 30-megawatt geothermal renewable energy plant and electrical substation, which will allow for increased baseload renewable power supply for the grid and the production of lithium with a carbon-neutral footprint, the filing said.
