0524 GMT - AEON Thana Sinsap (Thailand) faces an earnings hit from likely higher credit costs, UOB Kay Hian's Thanawat Thangchadakorn says in a research report. The brokerage reckons many uncertainties loom, which is why the financial services provider hasn't provided clear financial targets for 2026. Given Thailand's worsening economic outlook, the company will probably have to increase credit costs on quarter in 1Q 2026 as a precaution. The brokerage cuts its earnings forecasts for AEON Thana Sinsap by 2.6% for 2026, 2.2% for 2027 and 2.3% for 2028. It lowers the stock's target price to THB140.00 from THB152.00, with an unchanged buy rating. Shares are 2.0% lower at THB100.00. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
