LS Electric (KRX:010120) signed a memorandum of understanding with Spain-based Power Electronics to collaborate on supplying power equipment, including large-capacity transformers, for global energy storage system (ESS) projects, LS Electric said in a Thursday release.
The agreement aims to jointly develop power conversion system-optimized equipment and raise competitiveness in fast-growing renewable energy markets such as North America and Asia, the release said.
Shares of LS Electric fell more than 2% in recent trade on Friday.
