DayOne Data Centres Singapore Secures MYR15 Billion Financing for Green Data Centers in Malaysia

DayOne Data Centres Singapore secured multicurrency financing of 15 billion Malaysian ringgit for its green data centers in Johor, according to a release by Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp. or OCBC's (SGX:O39) Malaysian unit on Thursday.
OCBC and OCBC Bank Malaysia are the joint coordinators for the financing which comprises $1.7 billion in offshore term-loan facility and 7.5 billion ringgit in Islamic financing.
Proceeds from the financing will be used for refinancing and capital expenditure of data centers focused at obtaining green digital infrastructure certification.
