Ryde Group (RYDE) said Wednesday that it has acquired a 40% stake in Atoll Discovery, a Singapore-based electric vehicle rental company, to capitalize on the growing EV market in Singapore.

Aptevo Therapeutics (APVO) said it has struck deals to sell securities to some investors to raise about $8 million, with Roth Capital Partners as placement agent.
Shares soared 110% as intraday trading volume surged to over 116.6 million from a daily average of roughly 284,000.
KWESST Micro Systems (KWE) shares surged over 70% after the company said it has received its first order for prototypes of its battlefield laser detection system for a North American armored vehicle program.
More than 35 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of more than 221,000.
