路透台北6月20日 - 两位消息人士透露，台湾鸿海2317.TW 和美国人工智能$(AI)$芯片制造商Nvidia(辉达/英伟达)NVDA.O 正洽谈在休斯敦的鸿海新工厂部署人形机器人，该工厂将生产Nvidia的AI服务器。
消息人士称，这将是首次在人形机器人的协助下生产Nvidia的产品，也将是鸿海首个在生产线上使用人形机器人的 AI 服务器厂。
这一部署预计将在未来几个月内完成，并成为人形机器人使用方面的一个里程碑，有望改变制造流程。
鸿海正在与Nvidia合作开发自己的人形机器人，还试用了中国优必选9880.HK 生产的人形机器人。消息人士称，目前尚不清楚休斯顿工厂计划使用哪种类型的人形机器人，也不清楚这些机器人将是什么形态，最初将部署多少台。
他们说，两家公司的目标是在明年第一季度让人形机器人开始工作，届时鸿海在休斯敦的新工厂将开始生产 Nvidia 的 GB300 AI 服务器。
虽然目前还不清楚这些机器人在工厂里具体要做什么，但根据鸿海 5 月份的一份公司简报，鸿海已经在训练这些机器人拾放物品、插入电缆和进行装配工作。
其中一位消息人士说，鸿海在休斯敦的工厂非常适合部署人形机器人，因为这是新工厂，比其他现有的AI服务器生产基地有更大的空间。
Nvidia和鸿海拒绝发表评论。
